So it is my turn to contribute to the Weekly Wean. This time I am testing out the Nutribaby’s bottle sterilisation functionality.
I mainly use cold water sterilisation as I find it is easier to make sure that in the morning all the things that I need that day are to hand as Master A does not like waiting for his food/bottle. However I do like the idea of having one machine to do all things for a baby. I have had a blender, a bottle warmer and a steriliser for my babies and that takes up a lot of workspace. The Nutribaby takes up the same amount of space that my cold water steriliser does, maybe a little bit more.
So what do I think of the bottle sterilisation functionality of the Nutribaby? I am rather impressed! It does mean that I can only sterilise the things I need at each meal/bottle but that is OK with steam sterilisation as you do have to sterilise as you go, not like cold water sterilisation where you can add everything in the morning and keep adding things!
The Nutribaby sterilises the bottles very well. They were nice and steaming hot at the end of the process. Each process takes 10 minutes, that is 5 minutes quicker than cold water sterilisation. That in itself is a good thing!
I may start using the Nutribaby sterilisation functionality more often! It is so simple to set up and use. Just pour 150ml of water in to the reservoir of the steamer part of the Nutribaby, select the correct mode and press OK! The alarm at the end of the process is a good thing! I would easily forget to check on it, what with having two children, checking on things, especially dinner, is rather difficult!
So another Nutribaby functionality that I am impressed with!
