I used to read a lot. I know you don’t have much time when you have children but I do have some time in the evenings and if I start this challenge it will mean that my other half can spend some time watching what he wants to watch or play the games on his new PS3.
Mama Owl set this challenge last year but this year it has been given to Sarah at Ups & Downs, Smiles & Frowns
I have had some books recommended to me on Twitter but I need some more recommendations. I will add a list of books on this post later on. I like to read allsorts so recommend anything!
Looking forward to this challenge!
Note: Since me posting this, Sarah at Ups & Downs, Smiles & Frowns has posted about the #50books2014 https://mumx3x.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/50-book-challenge-2014-50books2014.html
Yay! I am so looking forward to this and hearing about what everyone is reading!
Thanks for mentions and joining in xx

I’ve just seen Munchies & Munchkins has written about reading 50 books this year too, I like the sound of this, may well have to push myself into reading some more too as I’m usually a big book worm. I look forward to seeing your reads this year.

I can recommend ‘The Welsh Trilogy’ by Alexander Cordell. ‘Rape of the Fair Country’, Hosts of Rebecca’ and ‘Song of the Earth’
Tara Kane by George Markstein – fabulous – about a women who goes to the Klondike to search for her husband and what she encounters.
I recently read The Storyteller and Lone Wolf, both by Jodi Picoult, which were really good. The Brave by Nicholas Evans is one of my favourite books out of those I read last year.
