20 week scan update and the gender!

Well I was worried this morning but I didn’t need to be. The baby is well and the amniotic fluid amount is OK. The person who scanned me said that I could of lost some fluid but she said it replenishes and at the moment the amount is normal.

The baby is doing really well and everything seems normal. They couldn’t check the heart at first but after me going for a 10 minute walk, the baby moved and everything could be seen and the heart looks normal. I am very happy and relieved. I don’t regret worrying so much as if I didn’t and if there was something wrong then I would feel devastated.

To celebrate we went to Sainsbury’s cafe and had something to eat (we shall celebrate more on Sunday, my fiancé has to work on Saturday…boo!)

Now, I have had a few people ask me what gender the baby is. I am pleased to say that yes we did find out and Miss A is quite happy with the outcome it seems!

So what is it? Well Miss A bought the baby it’s first top. It’s first piece of clothing. She picked it and I think she wants to wear it herself.

Here is the top:

gruffallo, baby clothing, top, first clothing, baby boy.

Baby’s first top!

Yes, it’s a boy!

We are so pleased, over the moon, to have one of each is amazing! My mum knew it was a boy. I had similar pregnancy symptoms as she did when pregnant with my brother.

Yay! I’m so glad all is well. And it’s a boy too, congratulations 🙂 I had one of each for 16 years, then I went and upset the balance by having another two girls and a boy!

YAY!!! I am so happy for you all honey – your whole family. You deserve this. Although I wish you didn’t have to worry so much. Hope you get to relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy (and now you can start discussing boys’ names) xxx
