This week’s subject for The Gallery is New. There are a lot of things that are happening that is new to me at the moment. New routine, what with Miss A now being at preschool, new baby on the way, new garden being made to name but a few.

So what picture to use? Well we all went to Wales last week to see family and we all went on the Brecon Mountain steam train. It was the first time that Miss A went on a steam train. So here is a picture of her sitting on her Daddy’s lap. She loved being on the train. Life is good when you experience something new.

The Gallery: Self portrait.

This weeks The Gallery is Self Portrait. I think this photo describes me very well. This is me and Miss A enjoying being outside watching the Caribbean Carnival in 2010 when Miss A was a few months old. I will be starting the journey again in a few months time. I think I was born to have babies. Not too many, I think the maximum that we shall be having is three.

As Miss A started preschool yesterday, it gives me another reason to be pregnant again, so happy I am! Although it is for a few hours a day, I am a little sad still that I have not got my daughter’s company all the time. Greedy I know but I think she is such a lovely girl and is amazing to be around.

So this picture describes me well, a mum that enjoys being out with her family. I do love going out and spending time with my little family…a lot!

The Gallery: Youth

This weeks The Gallery is all about youth! I had to include a comparison picture of me and Miss A on our second birthday! I believe that the second birthday is the most important as it is the start of a child learning rapidly and is the start of their childhood. I bet my childhood is a lot different than mine was. Although I loved my childhood. My parents were very good to me!

The Gallery: Happy

I am absolutely amazed at how happy Miss A is most of the time. She is wonderful. Even when ill, when this photo was taken, she was still smiling! When she was a baby she had very severe reflux caused by a cows milk intolerance and although she was screaming in pain when going through an episode, she smiled afterwards. Must of been such a huge relief when it was all over.

I love her very very much. She makes me very happy.

Daddy and Daughter’s love

I am so happy to say that Miss A loves her Daddy very much and the feeling is mutual. Both of them get on well with each other. She still gets so excited when he comes home from work, it is beautiful. I hope that love remains and better still grows!

Well Miss A loves a story just before nap and bed time. She has three favourite books. The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Dear Zoo and her very favourite at the moment is The Selfish Crocodile. Now at the time of me needing to take the picture The Selfish Crocodile has been misplaced.
