Organix Veg and Oat Bars review – Tomato and Carrot

Organix kindly sent me a pack of their tomato and carrot Veg and Oat Bars.Miss A loves these! She does not eat them as quick as she does her Organix Fruit Bars but not a crumb was dropped! She loves most if not all of the Organix snacks range. These will be a regular item in Miss A’s Organix treasure chest! The fact they have vegetables in them, it gives Miss A the variety that she needs, and what I want her to have. Vegetables are not very well accepted by Miss A so it is nice to know she is getting a little bit of vegetable.

Look at these simple ingredients! How fab is it to know that your child’s snacks can be so good for them?!

Organic Wholegrain Oats 55%
Organic Barley Malt Extract 16%

Well you know when I say that my daughter always has a messy mouth? Well this proves how messy she gets when eating and she eats a lot at the moment! This pic was taken after she had eaten some Organix crisps.

Organix Goodies Fruit and Water drink review

I was kindly sent one of each of the two varieties of Organix Organic Fruit and Water for Miss A to try. The two varieties are apple, grape and peach and apple and blackcurrant.

Miss A loves both of them. She drinks it all as soon as she can! I love giving them to her. I absolutely love the fact that it is simply juice, water and vitamin C. The only downside is that it is 89p per bottle and if Miss A has one of these each meal time, then it can get rather expensive. I will buy these for when we go out and about as they are perfect for that!

The ingredients for the apple and blackcurrant drink:

Water 50%
Organic Apple 30%
Organic Grapes 10%
Organic Blackcurrants 10%
Vitamin C less than 1%

The ingriedients for the apple, grape and peach drink:

Water 50%
Organic Apple 20%
Organic Grapes 15%
Organic Peach 15%
Vitamin C less than 1%

As said in my previous post, Miss A has got a cold and it is affecting her appetite. She did not eat much of her dinner last night. She ate her breakfast this morning but it HAD to be porridge. Offered her several things before but she refused them all apart from porridge.

One thing I did give her for her snack (which she ate within minutes) was an Organix Goodies Fruit Bar. There are two varieties, date and banana and date and apple. I have both varieties in the house and Miss A enjoys both of them. In fact Miss A loves all of the snacks that I have given her so far from the Organix Goodies range.

All that’s in the fruit bars is fruit and a little rice flour (to prevent stickiness). One bar is one of your 5 a day, fantastic! The fruit bars are suitable for toddlers from 12+ months.

The date and banana variety has organic dates (70%), organic dried banana (30%) and organic rice flour (less than 1%)

The date and apple variety has organic dates (85%), organic dried apples (15%) and organic rice flour (less than 1%)

The fruit bars a fantastic snack to take out and about with you and the benefit with these is there is minimal mess! Miss A has clean clothes after eating them. She may have a little bit round her mouth but that’s about it. The packaging is good too, the carton has a tab (like a cereal box) so the individually wrapped bars stay put. I love the characters on the packaging, especially the little dog!

I love giving Miss A the Organix goodies products, they are so natural! There is a no junk promise which is so reassuring!
